After trailing at 6-5, the Philippines started to break the game wide open with a 27-3 run and took a 32-9 lead after the first quarter.The Filipinos never looked back, clamping down on defense and went on to lead by 40, 57-17, at the half. They posted their biggest advantage at 68 following a Navarro layup with 1:23 left in regulation.Gilas' defense was so tight that Cambodia failed to score in double digits in each of the four quarters of the game.
