Geneva Cruz announced on April 19, Monday that her mom, Marilyn Cruz, lost her battle against COVID-19.
The singer then thanked all those who prayed for their mom and helped their family through the ordeal. “She is gone too soon, and no one can ever replace her in our hearts. See you on the other side, mama,” she said. “How can she not be okay today when she was okay yesterday? I don’t understand this! She’s supposed to be getting better. We’re asking for prayers,” she continued.
