Sojitz G Auto Philippines Corp. has vowed to make Geely to be in the top five automotive brands in the country by 2025, after climbing in the top 10 ranking in just less than 3 years from introduction in the local market.This was announced by new SGAP President and Chief Executive Officer Yugo Kiyofuji, succeeding outgoing SGAP President & CEO Yosuke Nishi, at the turnover ceremony Monday, April 4, conducted via virtual and physical platforms.
“The 10,000th sales milestone for Geely Philippines in a short span of time amid the pandemic is indicative of the trust and confidence that we gained from all our customers. Something that we didn’t expect and are really grateful for,” said Nishi. “I am very much excited to take on the challenges ahead and committed to leave no stones unturned to achieve our mid-term goal,” he added.
