GCash will be officially available as a direct mode of payment on the Grab platform this February, enabling users to avoid transfer fees of P50 per transaction.
“Once again, we make the lives of Filipinos better by delivering a more convenient and secure way to pay for their rides, food and grocery deliveries,” says GCash president and CEO Martha Sazon. “Empowering our stakeholders in a digital-first economy is key to wider cashless adoption in the country,” stressed Grab Philippines Country Head Grace Vera Cruz.
Earlier, the partners have already established a strategic collaboration, allowing users to transfer money from their GCash wallet to their GrabPay wallet, and vice-versa.
