Game of Thrones actor Miltos Yerolemou has sent his well-wishes and message of support to the health workers of The Medical City (TMC).

The British actor, who is best known for his role as Syrio Forel in the HBO series Game of Thrones, has called the hospital’s medical personnel “heroes” and praised them for their “brave work” amid the coronavirus outbreak.

“You face fatigue, shortages in supplies, and a very real risk of infection. We want you to know that you, all of you are their heroes,” Yerolemou said in a video message shared by the TMC on Friday. In the critically-acclaimed television series, Yerolemou played the character Syrio Forel, the “First Sword of Braavos” and the “Water Dancing” master of Arya Stark, played by actor Maisie Williams.

He shared that his friend’s father, who was recently admitted at the TMC, lost his battle to the coronavirus last week. “His family told me of the care your team gave him and the brave work that you do for all your patients each and every day,” he said. The Medical City in Pasig is one of the private health institutions at the frontline of the battle against COVID-19.“Huwag po kayong susuko. Bayani po kayong lahat. Maraming maraming salamat po,” Yerolemou said. “And remember, there is only one thing we say to the God of death — not today,” Yerolemou said.
