“Nakita ko po medyo mas malakas po iyong side effects ng March 29 pero maganda po iyon sabi ng mga doktor kapag may side effects na parang inaantok ka at parang gusto mong matulog ,” said Galvez, the chief implementer of National Task Force Against COVID-19.Galvez was inoculated with his first dose of CoronaVac vaccine, which was made by Chinese manufacturer Sinovac Biotech, during the launching of the government’s free vaccination program at the Philippine General Hospital in Manila on March 1.
According to the Department of Health , the CoronaVac vaccine is 100 percent effective in preventing severe infections and hospitalization, and 70 percent effective in preventing moderate infections.
