Giit ni Gadon, ang dami ng tao sa mga mall at mga kainan ay nagpapakita ng kakayahan ng mga Pinoy na gumastos. Ayon kay Gadon, mula sa poverty rate na 24.7% noong 2023, bumaba na ito sa 23.4% ngayong taon. Bagaman hindi tinukoy kung saan galing ang datos, sinabi pa niya na 11 milyon ang katumbas ng natapyas na 1.3% sa poverty rate ng bansa.
