Gadon tungkol sa matinding kahirapan ng buhay ngayon: 'Haka-haka lang nila 'yan'

SInabi ni Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation Secretary Larry Gadon na "haka-haka" lang ang paniniwala na mahirap ang buhay ngayon sa Pilipinas.

Giit ni Gadon, ang dami ng tao sa mga mall at mga kainan ay nagpapakita ng kakayahan ng mga Pinoy na gumastos. Ayon kay Gadon, mula sa poverty rate na 24.7% noong 2023, bumaba na ito sa 23.4% ngayong taon. Bagaman hindi tinukoy kung saan galing ang datos, sinabi pa niya na 11 milyon ang katumbas ng natapyas na 1.3% sa poverty rate ng bansa.
