CAMP VICENTE LIM, Calamba City, Laguna — Four police officers of Biñan City Police Station are now being investigated for their alleged involvement in an attempted murder of two of their ‘assets’ on early Thursday morning along Congressional Road, Barangay F. De Castro in GMA, Cavite province.

Based on a report from Police Regional Office 4A, the victims were Renato Alcala, 39, and Erwin Cabatino, 58, vendor. The two were allegedly police informants. Report added that the assets were advised to proceed at COMPAC in Barangay Tubigan, also in the city, where they were asked to wait there until 7:30 p.m. for the arrival of cops.The assets decided to go back to Biñan City PS where they were referred to alleged intelligence operatives.
