Residents of 12 villages in Hagonoy, Bulacan waded in 4.86 feet floodwater brought about by high tide on Monday, July 3. | ManilaBulletin READ:

Out of the 26 barangays in Hagonoy, the flood waters that accumulated for almost a week now have affected the villages of Bulusan, Sto. Nino, Tibaguin, Pugad, Sta Monica, Tampok, San Miguel, Sto Rosario, Mercado, San Nicolas, Sagrada Familia, and Sta Elena.Hagonoy residents wade in 4.86 feet of deep flood waters for one week now due to the high tide that started on Monday, July 3, at around 9.27 in the morning.

The Sto Nino road is not passable to light vehicles but Hagonoy Mayor Baby Manlapaz ordered the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office in the town to deploy their truck to ferry stranded residents.The residents have been experiencing flood due to the high tide for more than a decade now and they have already sought help from authorities.
