Fintech Alliance PHL kickstarts ‘Bagong Pilipinas Country Pavilion’ for Singapore Fintech Festival

The Industry Collaboration and Media Kick-off event features a distinguished lineup of attendees, including key government executives, regulators, and representatives from both the public and private sectors.

With this event, Fintech Alliance PH aims to set the stage for the Philippines’ significant presence at the upcoming Singapore FinTech Festival , scheduled for November 15 to 17 at the Singapore EXPO, Singapore City. SFF is known as the world’s largest fintech gathering, bringing together over 70,000 participants from 135 countries.

Hon. Benjamin E. Diokno, Secretary of the Department of Finance, lauded the private sector’s efforts to join the government’s mission in unlocking the Philippines’ full economic potential. “As government leaders and policymakers, it is our job to ensure that digital technologies do not become a weapon for exclusion, social instability, and unequal distribution of power and wealth. The success of digital transformation is not only measured by its ability to drive economic progress. It entails closing the digital gap and ensuring that the gains from digitalization are broadly shared,” Diokno added.
