Filipino firm gets USTDA grant to improve PH internet access

The US Trade and Development Agency said it awarded a grant to Filipino company Responsible Internet Sustainability Effort Inc. for a feasibility that will help internet service providers across the Philippines strengthen their delivery of high-quality and reliable internet, particularly in areas lacking proper service.

“The US government is committed to supporting the Philippine government on its digital development journey… This grant from USTDA will support efforts to bring affordable connectivity to remote communities, enabling access to the digital economy for every Filipino,” said US Ambassador MaryKay Carlson.

By expanding GetaFIX internet exchanges, data will travel shorter distances, enhancing both speed and reliability for users.
