by CNN on Sunday , a “faulty valve in the washing circuit within the bottling line” of a local winery in the Italian town of Castelvetro caused the leak of around 1,000 liters of wine into water pipes.The town’s deputy mayor, Giorgia Mezzacqui, told CNN that red wine leaked from the resident’s taps for three hours and “impacted about 20 homes.”
The leak, however, did not pose any health risks, the local government said on its Facebook page, according to CNN.
