After its efforts benefiting healthcare workers and medical frontliners during the height of the pandemic, fashion rental shop Vestido is now aiming to help, support, and empower communities in Siargao. Last December, Siargao and other locations in the Visayas and Mindanao regions were hit by Super Typhoon Odette, leaving places in devastation and people in need of assistance.
“We sought out friends with good hearts and great style to donate special fashion and home pieces for a benefit sale,” it says. “We aim to extend a hand to the island by hosting an online auction of big-ticket clothing and home pieces. 100 percent of the winning bidder’s profits will be donated to our beneficiary partners.”Each of its beneficiary partners has a focused mission in supporting the people of Siargao.
