47 farmer-beneficiaries in Antipolo City, Rizal finally received their certificates of land ownership award (CLOA) after a 14-year land dispute against a private firm. The distribution was delayed due to a petition filed by the landowner to exempt the property from the agrarian reform program.

After 14 years of a land dispute against a private firm, 47 farmer-beneficiaries in Antipolo City , Rizal finally received their certificates of land ownership award ( CLOA ) from the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR). The distribution of CLOA s was delayed due to a petition filed by landowner Philippine Guarantee Corporation (PhilGuarantee) to exempt the property from the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program ( CARP ).

However, the petition was rejected by DAR's Calabarzon regional office and affirmed by higher authorities
