CEBU CITY, Philippines — With five years of experience in public service, 27-year-old Dianne Padillo is ready to advance her advocacy in another stage as she represents Cebu City in the Miss Universe Philippines 2023.
“This year is my 5th year in public service, and ever since I was elected in 2018 as the Sangguniang Kabataan chairperson of Barangay Sambag 1. It gave me a very life-changing purpose. I was so passionate to help the youth, especially those who are in need and those who are less fortunate and are deprived of quality education, and are victims of inequality and social injustice,” said Padillo, a BS tourism graduate from the University of San Carlos.
