Malacañang said that the use of face shields in areas under the coronavirus (COVID-19) Alert Levels 1 to 3 will be up to the decision of the employers or the private establishments. READ:

Malacañang said that the use of face shields in areas under the coronavirus Alert Levels 1 to 3 will be up to the decision of the employers or the private establishments.

“With regard to the voluntary use of face shields for areas under Alert Levels 3 to 1, it is hereby clarified that the same is without prejudice to employers still requiring their use for their employees or workers and/or customers in their respective premises,” he said.the public can now do away with face shields but not with face mask“Ang desisyon ko is, okay tanggalin na ninyo yung shield. Pwede na ninyong , you dispense the shield but not the mask,” he said.

Based on a Palace order signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, the following guidelines on the use of face shields are to take effect immediately:
