Ex-drug offender yields P102,000 shabu in Bacolod buy-bust

A FORMER drug offender was arrested anew after police seized from him P102,000 worth of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 28, Bacolod City on Tuesday, June 27.

Police Capt. Dax Santillan, head of Police Station 6, said that Infante was convicted for a drug offense in 2008.However, Santillan said police received a tip that Infante was back to his illegal activity, prompting them to launch a buy-bust operation. Police confiscated from him the marked P1,000 bill, a digital weighing scale, P54,000 fake money, and P46.

Aside from the illegal drugs, Santillan said they will also probe the recovered fake money from the suspect.
