A POLICEMAN assigned to the Provincial Mobile Force Company of the Negros Oriental Police Office is suspected to be the gunman of a radio blocktimer based in Dumaguete City.
Both drivers were arrested during a police manhunt conducted a few hours after radioman Dindo Generoso was gunned down on Nov. 7, 2019 while he was on his way to the radio station for his program. Noppo’s investigators found out upon reviewing the footage from the CCTV mounted near the crime scene, that Rubio had got off a Mitsubishi car whose owner or driver they were able to trace, Entoma said.Reyes told police investigators that Rubio was the one who did the hit job on blocktimer Generoso.Police investigators found an exchange of messages between Corsame and Rubio before radioman Generoso was killed.
