MANILA – An emotional John Regala, who is popular for his kontrabida roles in movies and in television, pleaded for help as he battles liver cirrhosis.
“Carlo, actually nabangga ko pa 'yung motor mo kasi hilong hilo ako kasi 13 araw na akong hindi kumakain. Hindi mo ako iniwanan. Bihira 'yung ganun kaya maraming maraming salamat sa 'yo. Tinatanaw kong utang na loob 'yun,” the veteran actor said. “May hinihintay daw siyang nurse kaso umalis daw po. Sabi niya po, kahit pumunta lang daw po ako sa barangay para humingi ng tulong. Agad naman po akong lumapit sa mga tanod at pulis. Humingi po ako ng tulong para mabigyan po siya ng aksyon. Tinulungan naman po siya ng tanod,” Clariza said.“[Meron akong] liver cirrhosis. Sugat sugat ang aking atay at may tubig na ang aking tiyan. Kailangan matanggal 'yung tubig na 'yun,” he said.“Ako po ay nahihiya pero kakapalan ko na po ang mukha ko.
