Elderly woman left under MacArthur Bridge receives P12,000 cash donation

The elderly woman who was abandoned by her kin and two others under MacArthur Bridge in Manila received P12,000 cash donation after being rescued by the Manila Department of Social Welfare .

The said donation, received by Fulgencia Tan, was sent by a certain “Mr. Eric” from Las Vegas in the United States. MDSW Director Re Fugoso said members of the department bought necessities for Tan as she continues to stay at the city’s rescue facility. The elderly woman was rescued by the MDSW following reports from concerned citizens earlier this month.They were slapped with charges for violation of Article 275 of the Revised Penal Code or the Abandonment of Persons in Danger.
