Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal 4 is still raised over parts of Cagayan, Apayao, Ilocos Norte, as Typhoon EgayPH sustained its strength after making a second landfall over Dalupiri Island.

The northern and central portion of Quezon including Polillo IslandsEgay has maximum sustained winds of 175 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 240 km/h, and central pressure of 935 hPa.

According to PAGASA Egay may exhibit trochoidal or wobbling motion while in the vicinity of the Babuyan Islands in the next 6 hours. It is forecast to weaken throughout the forecast period, although the rate of weakening will not be rapid. —Jamil Santos/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
