Lawmakers are one with President Duterte’s call on Congress to conduct a special session on Oct. 13 to 16 to ensure the passage of the proposed 2021 budget before the end of the year, dispelling the possibility of having a reenacted 2021 national budget.
In calling for a special session for the enactment of the 2021 national budget, the President certified as urgent the passage of House Bill No. 7727 or the P4.506-trillion General Appropriations Bill . Ang Probinsyano partylist Rep. Ronnie Ong said there is no doubt that his colleagues will all heed the President’s call. “This is beyond politics and we have to make sure the 2021 budget is pass for the Filipino people specially during this pandemic,” he said.
