President Duterte is ready to be sent to prison over alleged extrajudicial killings if he is given a

In his State of the Nation Address Monday, the President set conditions to his imprisonment amid attempts to put him on trial for the drug-related deaths before an international tribunal.

Duterte said he also wanted “air-condition during the hot weather and conjugal visits, unlimited so we can understand each other.” While he mocked attempts to drag him to an international tribunal, the President has defended the government’s war on illegal drugs and vowed to end his term “fighting.” He also noted that the “terrible devastation” caused by illegal drugs was seen during the terror siege in Marawi City in 2017. He said drug money killed 175 and wounded more than 2,000 soldiers and policemen during the five-month battle with the terrorists.
