MANILA- President Rodrigo Duterte said Thursday he was "more than satisfied" with the government's response to the onslaught of typhoon Tisoy , which damaged parts of the Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas.

"I don't have to give any critique because everyone knew what to do before and after [the typhoon]," he added. The President sympathized with Bicolanos over the aftermath of the typhoon as he assured them of enough government funding for relief efforts. Three provinces in the region--Albay, Sorsogon, and Camarines Sur-- have been placed under a state of calamity.
