Malacañang confirmed that 487,200 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine from the COVAX Facility will arrive in the country at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 4.

President Duterte is ready to welcome the fresh batch of coronavirus vaccines in the country, according to Presidential spokesman Harry Roque.Roque confirmed in a statement that 487,200 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines will arrive in the Philippines as part of the first round of allocated doses from the COVAX Facility.

In his Tuesday presser, Roque said President Duterte is on standby to receive the delivery of the British-Swedish vaccine when it happens. “Talagang itong papasok po at darating na COVAX Facility allocation ng AstraZeneca ay dahil po sa intercession ni Ambassador Pruce ng United Kingdom ,” he said.
