MANILA, Philippines —President Rodrigo Duterte appeared to have sent his best wishes to former President Joseph “Erap” Estrada, who remains hospitalized a week after testing positive for COVID-19.
Estrada’s sons, former senators JV Ejercito and Jinggoy Estrada, took to social media to thank the President for calling to inquire about their father’s health.“Napakalaking bagay po ng pag tawag ninyo Mr. President sa akin para kamustahin ang aming ama. Ang laking gulat ko po!Nakakalakas din po ng loob sa gitna ng sitwasyon ng amin ama,” JV said Tuesday in a tweet.
