President-elect Bongbong Marcos is eyeing the appointment of three allies of President Rodrigo Duterte led by House Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta to a Cabinet post, incoming Presidential Communications Operations Office Secretary Trixie Cruz Angeles said Wednesday.
Marcoleta's name is being floated as the next Energy secretary, while Jimeno and Tiglao are supposedly the choices for the next presidential spokesperson. Marcoleta ran for senator in the 2022 polls under Marcos' ticket, but he withdrew his candidacy less than two weeks before May 9 polls.
