It looks like 2023 was also a big one for Ducati. Not only did it defend its MotoGP title with Francesco Bagnaia’s back-to-back world championships and regain WorldSBK glory with Alvaro Bautista finishing on top, but the Italian motorcycle manufacturer also saw huge success on the earning side of things.

For the second consecutive year, the Borgo Panigale brand posted more than €1 billion in revenue with a year-on-year increase in profitability by 10.5% and operating results at €112 million . “2023 was characterized by a global motorcycle market scenario with a growing competition and challenging economic situations around the world,” said Ducati CFO Henning Jens. “Despite this, Ducati could close the year with a further improvement in profitability reaching 10.5% Return on Sales and a new record operating result. This was possible thanks to a very attractive model mix and a great focus on cost discipline and efficiency in all processes.
