The Department of Social and Welfare Development- National Capital Region on Monday, Dec. 13, recognized the Mandaluyong City local government for passing an ordinance expanding the benefit of Pantawid Para sa Pilipino Program .
Mayor Carmelita “Menchie” Abalos together with members of the City Council accepted the plaque lauding the passage of City Ordinance 1759-21, S. 2021 during the Monday program in Mandaluyong City. The city government was also recognized for its planning strategies in the implementation of Modified Conditional Cash Transfer) for homeless families.
Mandaluyong City Social Welfare and Development Officer Mila Lagaran was awarded ‘4Ps Best Focal Person’ in NCR for the smooth execution of cash assistance programs in the city. The awards, signed by Regional Director Vicente Gregorio Tomas, were accepted by the Mandaluyong city officials in the presence of DSWD-NCR Social Welfare Officer IV Ms. Aileen Salsinha, Social Welfare Officer III Daryl Mabolot, and Data Management officer Mr. Jonard Chan.
