LEGAZPI CITY – Police Colonel Roderico Roy Jr., Camarines Sur police chief, said Joemar Caponga was killed after he drew his .9mm pistol and fired at an undercover police officer at around 5:40 a.m. in Barangay San Francisco in Baao town.
Days earlier, Caponga, who was in the police drug watch list, was the subject of a police operation at his residence in Barangay Mabolo, Naga City on Friday night but eluded arrest.
