BACOLOD CITY —
Lt. Col. Marcial Yanguas, officer-in-charge of Negros Oriental police, along with Major Fortunato Villafuerte , Bacong police chief, present 34-year-old John Mike Olitres alias ‘Tata Vendetta’ to the members of the media after he surrendered to the authorities Saturday. Olitres escaped from the custodial facility around 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 16, as the facility was not properly locked.
Olitres was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Oct. 8. He will be transferred to the provincial jail.
