The Department of Public Works and Highways-Region 2 has completed the construction of a quarantine facility at the Cagayan Valley Medical Center in Barangay Carig Sur here. The DPWH said the single-story container van quarantine facility has 32 beds, a swabbing booth, a two-room nurse station, and has separate quarters for male and female utility workers and medical frontline personnel.

Wilson Valdez, DPWH Region 2 spokesperson, said the quarantine facility was built for P28 million under the General Appropriations Act of 2020.
