The Department of Transportation is studying the possibility of setting up more bus stops for the Edsa Busway and a bus terminal in Caloocan City. | DFernandezINQ

The DOTr is likewise eyeing the establishment of a bus terminal in Caloocan City to ease traffic congestion in the area due to the long line of buses.

“Also, we are looking at possible area where they can park their buses in Monumento because there is no exchange in the north unlike here in the south, we have [the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange],” said Bautista. “We’re looking at an area which is owned by the [Philippine National Railways]. We just need to clear this and that’s I think in Caloocan… Because there’s no terminal in the north, it creates some traffic because of the long queue of buses,” he added.
