Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade shrugged off criticisms from Senator Grace Poe who had earlier said he must be replaced for underperforming in solving Metro Manila’s traffic woes.“Masyadong bilib sa sarili . I serve only at the pleasure of the President. Not subject to the whims, caprice, and theatrics of misguided politician,” Tugade said in a statement on Thursday.
“He did not perform. At least when it comes to traffic and when it comes to dealing with the solutions for the traffic mess, I think that somebody else should take his place,” Poe mentioned in a television interview also on Thursday.
