Is your ex or any person blackmailing you in exchange for sex or any favor? Please, don’t keep it to yourself.

The Philippine National Police urged on Monday, March 1, the public, especially women to seek the assistance of the police for such kind of incident, citing the case of a 23-year old man in Cebu who was arrested for posting nude photos of a 19-year old girl in Facebook group chats.

He was identified as Robert Villegas Debulosan, of Cabatantug of Argao town in Cebu who was collared in an entrapment operation on Sunday after he failed in threatening a woman to have sex with her in exchange for not sharing her nude photos with his friends. PNP chief Gen. Debold Sinas said the operation stemmed from the complaint of a victim who disclosed how Debulosan had been forcing her to yield to his sexual favor.

“The victim told investigators that Debulosan has been blackmailing her in exchange for sexual favor. She said the suspect had been threatening to post her nude photos in social networking sites,” said Sinas. The modus of Debulosan, according to Sinas, is to court women online. As soon as he succeeded, he would come up with ways to get nude photos of his victims which he would later use to blackmail them.“It’s a good thing that our police operatives were able to put a stop to this abuse committed against women by the suspect.
