emporary travel ban imposed by its government as part of its containment measure against the coronavirus disease 2019 .Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello 3rd said all Kuwait-bound Filipino workers stranded in Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Dubai and other airports would be covered by the repatriation plan.

As advised by the Kuwaiti government, Filipino workers who have landed in Kuwait would be admitted but those who are “on their way” would be denied entry, he added. Repatriated Filipinos will also be provided livelihood assistance, training under the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority and will be encouraged to apply to other overseas job markets such as Russia, Japan, and Canada.

Kuwait suspends flights to and from 7 countries including PHI think it’s discrimination. None of those countries have a lot of confirmed coronavirus and yet no first world country with heaps of confirmed cases is included in the flight ban list. I think Philippines should also issue total travel ban to Kuwait.
