Watch more in iWantTFC MAYNILA – Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon, inamin ni Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra na may mga paglabag sa protocol ang mga pulis sa giyera kontra droga.

Sa harap ng United Nations Human Rights Commission, inamin ni Guevarra na may naging paglabag nga sa war on drugs, ang pangunahing kampanya ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte. "No full examination of the weapon recovered was conducted. No verification of its ownership was undertaken. No request for ballistic examination or paraffin test was pursued until its completion," ani Guevarra.

Hindi rin umano malinaw kung ang lahat ng higit 9,000 pulis na sinampahan ng administratibong kaso ay may kinalaman sa sinasabing extrajudicial killings. Para sa UN OHCHR, hindi sapat ang administratibong kaso lang.kaya hindi umano dapat manghimasok ang anumang external entity. Para naman sa Palasyo, patunay ang report ng DOJ na iniimbestigahan ng Pilipinas ang mga paglabag sa mga karapatang pantao.

Para kay Romel Bagares, propesor ng international law at human rights law, magandang senyales na nakikipagtulungan ang DOJ sa United Nations Human Rights Council.
