EVEN as coronavirus disease cases continue to decline, the Department of Health is not yet keen on seeing the return of face-to-face Christmas parties.

"It is still best to hold virtual parties for this Christmas. I know this is already the second Christmas with a different form of celebration, but it is necessary," said Vergeire. She said the threat of Covid-19 remains present despite the number of cases already on a downward trend. For those who will opt to hold physical holiday gatherings, the health official said it is better to set several health and safety parameters.
