Another 368 more cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, the Department of Health reported on Saturday, Jan. 14.In the past two weeks, Metro Manila registered the highest number of cases with 1,860. It was followed by Calabarzon with 954, Central Luzon with 475, Cagayan Valley with 403, and Western Visayas with 321.
Of the total, the DOH said that 3,992,088 patients were able to survive from the viral illness. However, 65,575 people succumbed to Covid-19.In a related development, the DOH found 128 more cases of omicron variant and its subvariants. These were the results of the genome sequencing conducted by the Philippine Genome Center from Jan. 3 to 9.
