MANILA, Philippines — Some 2,113 persons have newly contracted Covid-19 while 9,418 others have recovered from the deadly respiratory disease, the Department of Health reported Sunday.
This brought the total number of Covid-19 cases in the Philippines to 576,352 while total recoveries stand at 534,271, according to the DOH’s daily Covid-19 case bulletin.The death toll also rose to 12,318 after 29 more patients succumbed to the disease.
