Herbosa issued the warning following reports that several Kidapawan City residents fell ill after eating halo-halo. “It could be contaminated and cause acute gastroenteritis,” he added, stressing the importance of ensuring that the ice to be used in making halo-halo is clean.Glasses and other utensils, as well as the hands of people preparing the dessert, must also be clean, he added.
