Coronavirus vaccines have been prepared for distribution at a vaccination site in Manila on May 18, 2021.
The PinasLakas campaign was launched last July 26 that aims to administer booster shots to at least 23 million individuals within the first 100 days of the Marcos administration or until Oct. 8. “Ang atin lang pong na-achieve from the day that we have launched hanggang sa ngayon ay 384,000 for the first boosters ,” said DOH Officer-in-Charge Maria Rosario Vergeire on Friday, Aug. 5.
In order to achieve their target, over 15,000 vaccination sites have been set up for this vaccination drive, said Vergeire.
