This fur parent decided to set up a mobile phone to record the behavior of their pet dog, Dexy, while they were out for less than an hour for their usual grocery run last March 20.
As seen in the video, Dexy was playing. Then a few minutes after, Dexy was uneasy and can be heard “crying”. When his furmom arrived, he jumped with joy! “Twing nagogrocery po kasi kami ng tita ko wala po naiiwan kay Dexy. Tapos paguuwi po kami, super excited po siya talaga. Nagdecide kami na videohan si Dexy para alam namin kung ano ginagawa nya everytime na lalabas po kami at maiiwan po siya,” uploader Jheinina Ortega shared.The uploaded video has already garnered more than 2.5 million views on social media. Netizens’ hearts melt for the affection of the dog to his owners.“Nalulungkot siya 🥺 He needs a playmate!” another netizen said.
According to the animal human society, the behavior of dogs while staying alone at home completely depends on their age as well as their physical and emotional needs. Dogs are prone to separation anxiety since they are social and typically prefer to be with others. Some may always struggle with being alone.
