The Department of Migrant Workers on Wednesday has assured Overseas Filipino Workers , who are claiming back wages, the agency is working closely with their counterparts in Saudi Arabia.
The registration and processing of claims back wages is ongoing following Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman's commitment to President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. in November that they will pay the Pinoy claimants 2 billion riyals, or 30.5 billion pesos.Her husband returned to the country in 2017 and died due to a heart attack in 2020. The family, however, has yet to receive his back wages.
