The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) on Monday closed an illegal recruiting firm in Quezon City (QC) alleged to be offering bogus jobs in Poland.

The Department of Migrant Workers on Monday closed an illegal recruiting firm in Quezon City alleged to be offering bogus jobs for Filipinos in Poland.The DMW- Migrant Workers Protection Bureau , in coordination with the QC police, shut down the operations of Tranvia Travel Agency located along P. Tuazon Boulevard in Cubao.

“We would like to recognize the efforts of our Filipino Community in Poland which called the attention of our Migrant Workers Office in Prague to investigate these illegal recruitment activities, said DMW Officer-in-Charge Hans Leo J. Cacdac in a press statement.“Without their help we would not have thwarted Tranvia Travel’s illegal activities,” Cacdac said.
