The Department of Migrant Workers said Saturday that the Philippine government was prepared to extend all forms of assistance to the five Filipinos who were injured in a Singapore Airlines flight that hit severe turbulence.“Nagpapasalamat tayo sa Singapore Air kasi sinasagot iyong mga expenses. But tayo naman ay nakahanda. Nakahanda tayo na sagutin ang anumang expense.
Wala silang gagastusin kahit na isang kusing hanggang sa sila’y makauwi na ligtas sa ating bayan,” DMW Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac said at the Saturday News Forum.Cacdac said the DMW was closely coordinating with the Department of Foreign Affairs on the condition of the Filipinos who were still recuperating at a hospital in Thailand.The DMW chief added that all five Filipinos were safe and sound while recovering in the hospital.
