The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) is speeding up the processing of the requirements of recruitment agencies on the government’s whitelist following the lifting of the deployment ban to Saudi Arabia.

The Department of Migrant Workers is speeding up the processing of the requirements of recruitment agencies on the government’s whitelist following the lifting of the deployment ban to Saudi Arabia.The DMW said it would only allow whitelisted agencies to recruit overseas Filipino workers to the oil-rich kingdom.According to JP Soriano's report on "24 Oras Weekend” on Saturday, job orders for Saudi Arabia will be approved next week.

The department will also set up courtesy lanes for liaison officers and staff of other government agencies to expedite the deployment of OFWs.Meanwhile, the DMW said it was communicating with the Saudi government regarding its pledge to allocate some 2 billion riyals for the unpaid salaries of some 10,000 overseas Filipinos employed by construction companies that declared bankruptcy.
