De La Salle University (DLSU) has announced that they have been able to raise more than P1 million for their project Safe Shelter for Philippine General Hospital (PGH) frontliners.

In a Facebook post Tuesday on DLSU’s official page it was said: “With your generous support we have raised a total of: P 1,010,230.40…”

DLSU’s campus is near the PGH, making it an ideal place for tired frontliners who temporarily can’t risk going back to their own homes to rest when they are off-duty. Most frontliners choose to stay isolated from their own families to avoid the risk of infecting them.
