Interior Secretary Eduardo Año says they are targeting to deploy hired contact tracers on October 1.

— The government head of the Department of Interior and Local Government said Wednesday they are targeting to deploy hired contact tracers on October 1.

DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya said separately that they will accept applications for the job until today. Based on the guidelines drafted by the DILG, hired contact tracers will earn a minimum of P18,784 monthly, and they will be considered contract of service workers.
