Individuals who wish to benefit from the Department of Information and Communications Technology’s free activities may join the department’s digital literacy training in December.
Spearheaded by DICT CALABARZON, the initiative will be launched through the department’s Tech4Ed program. Tech4Ed means “technology empowerment for education, employment, entrepreneurship, and economic development.” Called as the “digital inclusion” initiative of DICT, the project seeks to deliver communications technology-enabled services to Filipinos.
The digital literacy workshop will be conducted on the following dates: Facebook marketing, creation of graphic advertisements, as well as basic photography on Dec. 1; computer and cybersecurity essentials on Dec. 5 until Dec. 6; and tutorial on basic computer tools and its functions on Dec. 14.“Moving forward, we are excited to build new partnerships and offer free digital literacy training to bridge the digital divide in our community,” said DICT on Monday, Nov. 28.
